Are you familiar with the term “Insulated Concrete Pool”?
Some of you may be familiar with Concrete Pools, but what exactly is an Insulated Concrete Pool?

Insulated Concrete Pools: Overview
Insulated Concrete Pools are, in essence, pools made with insulating materials in the concrete.
Insulated Concrete Pools are built using Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) that are filled with concrete.
The result is a concrete pool that is fully insulated and has thermal separation!
This construction method is highly favored in premium home construction because insulated concrete provides additional protection against severe weather events like hurricanes, storms, and tornadoes.
Additionally, the insulation provides significant advantages!
“Is the insulation significant in the case of an Insulated Concrete Pool?”
Absolutely!
Our concrete pools with insulation have it on the walls and floor, which creates a complete thermal barrier!
With our insulated concrete pools, we can achieve a complete “thermal break” due to the insulation present on the floor and side walls. This reduces the amount of heat that is lost due to dissipation caused by lower temperatures in the surrounding environment.
Think of this analogy:
You plan to enjoy a cup of coffee outdoors during winter.
You have two options for carrying your coffee outside in the middle of winter: an insulated coffee mug or a paper cup.
It’s clear that you would prefer the insulated coffee mug, as its insulation will keep your hot beverage protected from the surrounding weather.
“What Does It Look Like?”

You can see the insulated forms we use right here.
The insulated forms have double layers of insulation – one on the inside and one on the outside of the concrete – which provides two layers of protection.
After the insulation is put in place, the space between the layers is filled with concrete. This is usually done with a special type of equipment called a concrete line pump, which ensures precise placement of the concrete..
The forms are then left up – as nothing gets stripped or removed.
“What Sizes Are There?”
Insulated concrete pools can be tailored completely to your liking, so you can choose any shape or size you desire.
Insulated concrete pools offer a high level of flexibility and customization, which enables you to create a pool that fits your backyard perfectly.
“Doesn’t Concrete Crack?”
Concrete is prone to cracking, which is why we value the insulation component of this construction method.
The primary purpose of Insulated Concrete Pools is to safeguard the concrete from extreme temperatures, which helps prevent freezing and thawing of the concrete.
In addition to insulation, we reinforce the structure of insulated concrete pools with a significant amount of rebar. We also use high-quality concrete that is specifically formulated for use in cold weather conditions.
“How Much Do These Pools Cost?”
As complex as your question may be, we have a webpage dedicated to explaining our pricing. Click here to access it.
We can only provide information about our own pricing, as other companies may use different materials or have different labor costs that affect their pricing.
